First, the printer prints your design with CMYK and white ink directly onto special PET film. Then the automatic powder shaker applies hot-melt adhesive powder evenly over the print. After that, the heating system dries and cures the ink and powder to form a flexible transfer film. Finally, use a heat press to transfer the pattern onto clothing or fabric, completing the whole printing process.
To choose suitable materials for your DTF printer, start with high-quality DTF PET film that is smooth, anti-static, and compatible with your print width to ensure stable feeding. Select water‑based DTF ink (CMYK+White) that matches your printhead for bright colors and good adhesion. Use fine hot‑melt adhesive powder with a melting point around 110–130°C for strong washing resistance. For transfers, you can use almost all fabrics including cotton, polyester, blends, leather, denim, and canvas. Always match material quality to your production speed and desired washability for durable, clear results.
